For extra halyard security you have to open a lockable cover in the flagpole itself. The halyard can be pulled out and the flag raised and lowered manually. 
The halyard can then be fed into the flagpole again and the cover locked. A flag wieght is fitted to the bottom edge of the flag. The system can be used for flagpoles measuring up to 12 metres.
